If you have served in a restaurant for any length of time, you have had the Server Nightmare. You servers know what I mean.

To those not in the know, the Server Nightmare is a delightful bit of subconcious flogging where your brain thinks its funny to quadruple seat you with 8 tops, on opposite side of the restaurant, and then decide the soda machine is broken.

Its a special kind of hell

I noticed the tie right away. I like it - it makes the joke that he dreamed he was wearing a bad tie and not that he dreamed he was in a dead end job. Clever.

His shirt is brown in the car, but blue in the office? Do people honestly bring a change of clothes to work? I ask because I know someone who does, and I thought THEY were the strange one. Might be, it's me.

Not to spoil the joke here, but I HATE it when I have those sort of dreams. Not the "dear Lord, bad tie!" dream, the "wake up and go to work" dream. I always wake up tired and frustrated.

Makes perfect sense to me. He's a drone, that was a POWER tie. Nobody below management (other than the lawyers) wear power ties. COMPLETE gaffe.
